Phil and Poliina 6th Wedding Anniversary

On our 6th wedding anniversary we spent the day in the city. We had beautiful lunch at Doyles Seafood restaurant at Watsons Bay. http://www.doyles.com.au/12199+0+doyles-on-the-beach.htm

For starters we had dozen oysters, salt and pepper squid and some herb bread. Mmmmmm
For main, I had pasta with creamy garlic prawn and sundried tomato sauce. I couldn't finish it though, I was too full.

Phil had lobster mornay. And what a lovely lobster it was!!! Yummm!

By the way, the weather was exactly like it was 6 years ago (the day after our wedding), it was raining by buckets. We couldn't even see the city silhouette from the restaurant. All we saw was gray fog and rain. But that didn't really matter because we had each others company to enjoy and we felt special enough, even without the spectacular view of Sydney.

And to top it all off, we spoiled ourselves at the spa in Shangri-la hotel (previously known as ANA, where we also spent our first night as married couple). We used the gym, swimming pool and sauna. We felt great sipping hot peppermint tea after massage and mud treatment. Aahhhhh! It was fabulous!!!
I think we had the best day ever :-)

Sydney Aquarium

It was hard to get nice photos in the Aquarium because it's too dark inside to take photos without flash but you get this massive shiny glare on the glass when using flash. Anyway, there's one that came out ok.
Jacob under the belly of Gray Nurse shark. He would make a nice snack for the beast :-/

Family photo with the fishy background. As you can see Jacob is doing what boys do best :-D

Jacob was sooooo exited to see all these fishes and sea creatures. He was running from one tank to another and it was hard to get him to stop for a photo. Luckily we have already seen it all, so we just tried to keep up with Jacob.

He looks so cool posing with fishes.

When leaving the Aquarium, we lost half an hour in the gift shop. It made me wander if Jacob likes toy fish better or the real ones?!? Naturally he had to touch each and every toy in the store and have a little play with it before returning it to the shelf.

He was out like a candle just as we were about to have lunch. All this exitement was taking it's toll in the end.

Like son like father :-D he-he-heee. No, he didn't really sleep behind the wheel, just happened to blink as I was taking this photo.

Australia Day 2008

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi!

Lovely day at the park with some Estonian Australian friends.

Jacob looked so cute with his Australian Flag tatoo stickers and eating Anzac cookies like a good aussie boy... and Bob's your uncle!

Phil came as Crocodile Dundee. We bought his Barmah hat in the morning and he loves it. Suits him too I think :-)
Does it remind you of someone?

Doesn't Phil look pretty!? I like a man who's in touch with his feminine side ;-)
