Jacob's 1st day at school

some thoughts and memories of Jacob's 1st day at school:
1. "I spoke to my "buddy" Nicolas today but he always tells me to go play with my own friends. But I don't have any friends there!?"
2. Jacob knows the name of his school now - St Joseph's.
3. Mr Barton (the principle) is the leader of the school in the whole wide world. He is also "a big teacher"
4. For lunch on his first day Jacob had a Vegemite sandwich (he left the crust), a Nutrigrain energy bar, some strawberries, a vanilla custard, some milk and some water.
5. Jacob also learned that there are rules at school. Most important rule is to be very quiet when you go downstairs where Mr Barton is. No talking in the classroom and no yelling.
6. Jacob's shoelaces didn't come undone but apparently heal keeps coming out of his shoe when he walks, so tomorrow we need to make the shoelaces a bit tighter.
7. Jacob didn't need his pencil-case today.
8. The teacher read a story about a lazy duck today. Jacob asked me what lazy means. I explained that it's when you don't want to work, you feel lazy. Then he said he needs to tell this to his teacher tomorrow because she doesn't know what lazy means that's why she asked the class. There you go!
School shmool. School is boring. Wake me up when it's time for recess! He-heee
In the classroom with all his new school friends and parents and teachers.
On the playground before 1st morning assembly.
Drawing a picture of dinosaur. Of course!
Big smile for the camera :-D

Thumbs up!
