Christmas at our place

there is a perfict example how you can go overboard with Christmas decorations :) it's a house in Hurstville and that's pretty much the only house on the street that's got Christmas lights on it.

Mela and I were busy cooking and preparing Christmas feast. there's another perfect example - how to go overboard with food :D
Men cooking the sausages on the barby. Christmas OZ style :)

Of cource you can never go overboard with presents ;)

Holiday at Lake Macquarie

This photo of a beautiful flower I dedicate to Joe :) he pointed it out to me and asked me to take a photo. It came out nice!

We spent a weekend at this lovely holiday resort called Raffety. Although the weather wasn't the best - most of the time it was cloudy and rained on and off... - we all enjoyed ourselves and each others company.

It was warm enough to have a swim in the pool and kids had lots of fun doing tricks and posing for my camera. Jacob was swimming on his own... well, not totally on his own but with the help of blow-up floaties and vest and he seemed really confident in the water. He loved going for a swim.

The house you see on the right, was our temporary residence at the resort.

Jacob and I went for a walk one afternoon and I managed to take some cute pics of him on the green forest background.
This tree looked so colorful, I just had to take some photos of it. It's beautiful, don't you think!?

Cool dude - Anthony!

On Saturday night we had dinner at the RSL club nearby.

Just a "little" green leaf insect :)

This photo was taken on Sunday morning when all the kids were laid out on the sofas in the living area waiting for breakfast. Joe made pancakes and Phil cooked scrambled eggs for everybody. It was yummy!
